Why Join the Antelope Valley Heat?

The Antelope Valley Heat are the official travel organization of NFL Flag AV. This special program is designed to prepare our youth athletes to compete and succeed at flag football's most prestigious and competitive events, while also providing them the opportunity to compete against the best players in the country. Our goal is to not only provide our youth athletes the opportunity to build and showcase their skills, but to help them reach the next level of competitive football. We also intend to get our youth players recognized locally, regionally, and nationally, by letting them "put their names there" with their play.

The program combines: NFL Flag AV's best coaches and volunteers, strategies and plays, special skill training, and the league's full resources to train and prepare NFL Flag AV's top players who want to compete at a higher level. Participation is by tryouts only and anyone can tryout (you do not have to be a part of the league). There will also be the typical fees associated with a travel club.

We intend for the Heat to compete in the 6U, 7U, 8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 12U, 13U, and 14U divisions (birthdate as of 1/1/2021) in the most prestigious flag football circuits such as the NFL Flag Regional and National Tournaments, the Cali Classic Tournament Tour, the National Flag Football Championship Tour, the Hard Count Athletics Tour, and the Flag Football World Championship Tour.
